If you are visiting Frankfurt, you should go to the area of Old Sachsenhausen.This part of the city is famous for its rustic apple wine pubs, historical timber-frame houses and narrow laneways. Take the opportunity to visit the Sachsenhausen district and discover the Apfelwein, one of the most typical drinks in Germany. It is an apple wine with an alcohol content of between 5 and 7 degrees. It is usually found in some of the old cider taverns in the Sachsenhausen district.
